Why J. Sanchez sucks
The Giants have dealt lefties Jonathan Sanchez and AA-pitcher Ryan Verdugo to the Kansas City Royals for centerfielder Melky Cabrera.
Why this trade was not a good deal:
We should have done it one year ago when Sanchez’s value was through the roof and would have brought a return of major-league players and fringe prospects. The Giants and Sabean are one year too late on this deal.
